What works with YouTube links

Video qualities depend on the individual upload. When available, choose MP4 or WebM at a useful resolution. An audio option may appear when the source provides one.
Check that the video is public and the URL points to a single video rather than a private playlist. Some age, region or account restrictions prevent access.
Only public videos available without sign-in may work. We do not bypass access restrictions, DRM or YouTube's privacy settings.

Some uploads do not provide that resolution, or the platform may make a different set of formats available.
